About The Institution
Stamford American International School (SAIS), established in 2009, is part of the Cognita Group, a leading global education group. SAIS is accredited by WASC and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and offers a full IB and AP curriculum from Pre-K through 12th grade. SAIS currently has a student and faculty community of approximately 3,000 students from 75 countries.
SAIS have excellent facilities with two campuses about five kilometres apart. SAIS facilities boast state-of-the-art classrooms, theatre, science labs, quiet study spaces, libraries, gyms, pools, etc. Our teachers thrive in this well-resourced environment and leverage it to promote active learning for our students.

Admission Requirements
The school enrols students on a Rolling Basis throughout the year and enrols them at any time as space becomes available.
Primary Level
Students will be tested for English proficiency to determine their English level and placed in the corresponding English program.
Secondary Level
Students in grades 7 through 10 will be required to take an on-campus WIDA English test and interview to determine acceptance.
High School
Students in grade 11 will be required to take an on-campus test and interview to determine their English proficiency at a near-native level.
