About The Institution
Hwa Chong International School (HCIS) was established in 2005 with the support of the Singapore Economic Development Board(EDB) and the Singapore Ministry of Education. It started with 85 students as a co-educational secondary school and is a member of the Hwa Chong cluster of schools, which has grown fivefold since 2005, with a student population of around 1,000 students from over 20 countries. The establishment of HCIS has added a new dimension to the Singapore education system and provided an alternative pathway for students to pursue a high-quality education.
